High thermal efficiency, low energy consumption: disc dryer belongs to typical conduction heating type dryer, material heating mainly relies on heating wall surface, drying process without or only a small amount of dry gas carrying moisture, due to the exhaust air and the loss of heat is very small, high thermal efficiency, theoretically up to 100%, in practice generally up to 60% to 80%, low energy consumption, the unit of steam consumption of 1.3 ~ 1.6kg steam/kg of water.
Uniform drying, good product quality: due to the special stirring device, thin material layer, stirring intensity, high renewal rate of the heating surface, the area of the material exposed to the outside is almost greater than that of all the conduction drying equipment, low resistance of the heat transfer medium, high efficiency. The dry and wet materials in the layer and the upper and lower materials are well mixed, and the drying time of the materials is much shorter than that of the general conduction drier, mostly within 5~60min, and the discharge temperature is relatively low, which is suitable for the heat-sensitive materials with less stringent requirements. It can precisely control the drying time by changing the parameters such as the heating temperature of drying plate, the number of layers, the number of rake rods and the number of revolutions, the structure and number of rake leaves as well as the thickness of the material layer, etc. There is no back mixing of the material flow, and thus uniform drying products can be obtained, and the materials with extremely low final water content can also be completed at one time.
Small damage to the material: the stirrer has a low number of revolutions, which has a small effect on the crushing of the material, and can maintain the complete crystal shape of the crystalline material; at the same time, the stirrer has a small consumption of power, and the motors and speed reducers used are smaller than those of other rotary conduction drying equipments.
Dust entrainment is small: drying is mainly carried out by the heating plate, without introducing hot air or only introducing a small amount of hot air, low wind speed in the section of the dryer, dust entrainment is small, and some occasions can even omit the dust separation system, simplifying the process.
Wide range of application: the dryer can be operated at atmospheric pressure, closed or vacuum, positive pressure operation, solvent recovery, very suitable for heat-sensitive, flammable and explosive, toxic materials drying.
Small footprint: disk dryer adopts vertical structure, small footprint, suitable for production environment with limited space.
Good environmental performance: the disk dryer has little or no dust leakage, low noise, no vibration, in line with environmental requirements.
Flexible operation: each layer of drying disk can be individually passed into the cold and hot media, cooling or heating of the material, accurate and easy to control the temperature of the material. Accurately adjust the residence time of the material. Starting and stopping operation of the dryer is very simple. After stopping the feeding, the rake blade which conveys the material can quickly empty the material in the dryer.
