I. Selection by Evaporation Capacity

The primary selection criterion is the hourly moisture evaporation rate, which covers all application scenarios:

Laboratory Pilot Scale: Evaporation capacity of 5–10 kg/h, suitable for formulation development and small-batch trial production. Representative models include the LPG-5 and QFN-L-5, with a tower height of only 1.75 meters, offering a compact footprint and ease of operation.

Pilot-Scale: Evaporation capacity of 18–50 kg/h, suitable for process validation and small-to-medium batch production. Representative models include the LPG-25 and QFN-L-10; atomization disc diameter: 120 mm; suitable for materials with viscosity ≤ 100 mPa·s.

Industrial Mass Production Models: Evaporation capacity of 120–2,000 kg/h, suitable for continuous large-scale production; representative models include LPG-150 and LPG-2000; tower height exceeds 12 meters; dry powder recovery rate ≥ 95%.

Extra-large production lines: Evaporation capacity up to 6,500 kg/h, suitable for 10,000-metric-ton-scale projects in the chemical and food industries; must be equipped with a waste heat recovery system to reduce energy consumption.


II. Key Considerations for System Configuration

For small-scale equipment, prioritize electric heating to flexibly accommodate small batches of multiple material varieties; for large-scale equipment, prioritize steam or gas heat sources to significantly reduce operating costs.

For processing capacities exceeding 500 kg/h, a combined powder collection system consisting of a “cyclone separator + baghouse dust collector” must be installed to ensure product yield and compliance with exhaust gas emission standards.

When selecting equipment, allow for a 10%–20% processing capacity margin to prevent equipment overload—which could affect production efficiency—due to fluctuations in material viscosity or solids content.
